  • Challenge: Boulder Pickleball faced a specific challenge in motivating existing free members to upgrade to the "Let’s Go!" membership. Despite its growing popularity and the establishment of a dedicated indoor facility, the organization needed a strategy to deepen players' connections to the facility and enhance their commitment to the sport and community.

  • Opportunity: Recognizing the increasing importance of health and wellness in the community, Boulder Pickleball saw an opportunity to position its "Let’s Go!" membership not just as a subscription but as an investment in personal health and social engagement. The campaign could leverage the sport's social, fun, and health-oriented nature to attract a community-driven audience in Boulder, using the organization's strengths to build stronger, lasting connections among local pickleball enthusiasts.

  • Solution: The "Health is Wealth" campaign was developed by my team (Four Leaf Clever) to harness the values of health, social interaction, and personal growth, aligning with Boulder's community-driven spirit. Utilizing targeted ads on Facebook and Instagram, the campaign focused on the exclusive benefits of the "Let’s Go!" membership, such as advanced booking and members-only events, to encourage free members to upgrade. The ads featured motivational messaging and a direct call to action, leading to increased website traffic and membership sign-ups. This strategic approach aimed to boost membership engagement by emphasizing the physical and mental benefits of participating in pickleball, resonating with the audience's desire for a healthy, active lifestyle.
